*After leaving Rosalind with Anya, I shift to the whitestar where Marcus is waiting for me* So what is so special about this planet we’re going to?

*sees my wife enter the bridge, the holodraphic crew is online after the ship has been fitted with holo emmiters, and its weapon systems have been upgraded*
remember the story i told you about when i was first affected as a vampire, well this planet was going to e my new home *sighs* but the vampires that lived their chose to become my enemies (i blew them up with a nuke) *looking at ysidra* its just i feel a calling, something there wants me to return, perhaps not all the vampires were killed, but since my vampirism has returned, its just something that needs to be done, i keep having the same dreams everynight, remembering the caves of that planet, theres something there i can feel it.
*orders crew to launch the whitestar, enter hyperspace, we should be there in about 12 hours*

Well I’ve been sensing something too and it seems to be connected with your dreams, and therefore connected to that planet, I just hope that whatever we find there isn’t too hostile, but somehow I don’t feel it is, it’s something more profound than that.

just feel better knowing we have our ship with us, those caves were unique, i remember it blocked my vampire sences in the deepest parts of that cave, and i didnt have my shifter then so i dont have it programmed into it, safer traveling there by the ship. *2 hours later we arrive at the planet, moves over to the counsil and scans the planet* still no life signs, ill get my weapons, the cold weather wont affect us son much it didnt last time when i was there in vampire form.

I’m sensing it very strongly now, there is something down there reaching out…it feels so desperate…is it possible there is still a vampire alive down there?

there could be i guess it wasnt long after i blew up the coven that i was captured and interogated, lets get dressed for cold weather, ill get my gatling gun, then we can beam down to the surface, in my dreams it was always the caves i was in perhaps we should look there first?

*I glance at Marcus* Yes…the caves…quickly *I grab some cold weather gear and hurriedly get dressed, checking my own weapons, making sure they’re fully charged* Alright…I’m ready…

*we are beamed to the surface, the weather is extremly cold, very windy here, we make our way to the caves on the side of a cliff* let me know if you sence anything, your telepathy is much stronger than mine *just then i get a sharp pain, and collaps to my knees, ysidra sences the pain its being sent to me telepathically*

*grabbing hold of Marcus’ arm, I manage to help him stand up, but I can sense the pain too and know it’s getting stronger* Can you walk, we’re nearly there, I can sense the urgency now and I think I know what the pains are…birth pains…having not long experienced them for myself

why would i be having birthing pains, unless… *we get into the caves, getting out of the cold, when we hear a howl of something in pain, i feel it intensly, as i remember the creature i friended her almost 5 years ago when i first visited this planet*

It’s not you having birthing pains it’s…*I stand and stare at the creature stretched out on the floor, obviously in great pain* it’s that creature…she’s giving birth…oh no, it’s worse than that, she’s dying Marcus, I have to do something…

*i rush to the creatures side, gently cradle its head in my lap, remembering the time we first met and developed a connection, somehow when i fed of the creature as a vampire all those years ago i became in tune with the creatures telepathy, i try to comfort the creature, while my wife help to deliver the creatures baby*

*As the first of the creatures two babies appear, I realise I have to do more than just help with the delivery, so as soon as the second one is out, I quickly get to my feet* Marcus, I need to shapeshift now before it’s too late, the creature is dying and we’ll lose the babies unless…*without saying another word, I hurriedly get undressed, shivering in the cold I remember how Henry taught me to shapeshift, focussing on the creature, slowly I take her form and lay down beside her, pulling the two babies to me for warmth*

*the creature sends us both its life story telepathically, it was a humanoid life form at one point in its long life, but was cursed to live out its existance in this form, the creature is a shapeshifter as well but was cursed tob only remain in this form for the rest of its loife that will soon be comming to an end, s we notice the creatures mate is lying nearby just recently having died as well, it called out to me because of our connection, it sends us a telepathic plea to care for its children, it has more to tell us but is very close to death*

*holding the babies close to me, I feel them getting stronger as they feed, and as they do, I sense they are beginning to change, I call out to Marcus telepathically* ~Marcus, the babies, can you see what is happening, I can sense they are changing, but this creature has no eyes~

*the creatures curse is now broken and the children are shapeshifting into there true humanoid forms, and are not cursed like there parents were, i send the creature a comforting sound as i promise to care for her children, the creature sends its telepathy to the children, teaching them al the vthings they will need to know about there race and history, as it reaches to touch the children she dies*

*Sensing the mother’s death, I know I must transform back into my human form again, I do it slowly so as not to alarm the babies, then quickly get dressed, seeing the creatures babies in their human form, and growing to full size very rapidly, is quite moving. The male get’s to his feet first and holds his hand out to the female to help her to her feet, I’m not sure what to say, so I just stand there and smile, the male speaks first*
(Tane) I am Tane, and this is Kara, we both thank you for your help
(Ysidra) It was an honour, I am Ysidra…this is my husband, Marcus

its an honor to meet you both, i promise to help you both as your mother helped me long ago *they go to their mother and father nearby whose bodies revert to there normal forms after death* (tane) *looking at his sister* we should bury them here in the caves they did actually consider this home and felt safe here (kara) *the children knew this was going to happen but they cant help feel emotional after just being born, each picks up a body of a parent and walk with them deeper into the cave, where a crystal gargen is nearby, they lay thier parents on the crystals and thier bodies, start to crystalize as well, becomming part of the crystal garden*

*takes Marcus to one side to give Tane and Kara a moment to themselves* Is there anyway we can shift out of the cave back up to the whitestar? If not, you’d better return while I stay here, and get them some clothing.

*the children return and smile at you as they can shapeshift to where they have close on* we promised your mother w would help you both, please come with us to our ship, there you will have some food and a place to stay until your both comfortable and ready to do what you want. *they agree and we all ge back to the ship*
Ysidra Cole
*I take Tane and Kara through to the crew quarters* If you two want to get some rest until we get to Halvalia, you’ve been through quite an ordeal, would you care for something to eat?
(Tane) Thank you Ysidra, some rest is all we require for now, my sister and I appreciate your kindness, we shall find a way to repay you
(Ysidra) Seeing you two safe is repayment enough, I shall let you know when we arrive at Halvalia, but if there is anything you need in the meantime, you know how to contact me *I smile at both of them, knowing they will telepathically call to me if needed, then I head back to the flight deck, ready for the journey home*
