The Action Man Project

It all started as a bit of fun with a pair of shorts. Then a fellow member on Ravelry, Liz started a group with Action Man as the mascot, and things got out of hand!

I think the pictures speak for themselves!! And yes, in the last photo, they are hand crocheted fishnet stockings he’s wearing!

Action Man Shorts

Having already bought my first Barbie doll for a mere 99p from a charity shop, I’ve now gone one better and purchased my first Action Man. He also cost me 99p from a charity shop, I am a professional bargain hunter!!

The purpose of buying a Barbie and an Action Man was to make clothes for them. However, the Action Man I purchased appeared to have a bit of an attitude problem and I decided he needed teaching a lesson!

So I knitted him a pair of shorts, in black wool with flecks of red, purple and silver thread. As you can see from the photo he’s not best pleased. But the motto of this post is, don’t mess with me or you’ll also be photographed wearing sparkly shorts!!
