This Malcolm Root picture features, as you might expect, an old delivery van. Our attention was focused more on the sweetie shop, though. Is that a big jar of gobstoppers I saw in the window, or is my appetite deceiving me?

Malcolm Root is one of Britain’s foremost painters of vintage transport. If you like trains and buses, he’s your man. We loved the old bus, but we struggled a bit with the sky. Of course, now we’re much more experienced puzzlers…we’d still probably get in a muddle with the sky.
