2 rows, yay!!

I crocheted two rows together of the Blankie using a slip stitch on the inner loop so from the front it’s seam free, or so it seems! And I thought you might like to see a picture of all the stash I’m using…so far!!

Blankie Update

Well so far I’ve done a total of 14 squares and even given them their own page so you can see all the pwetty colours!!

I’m about to start assembling the first two rows of 7 squares, they’re laid out on the floor at the moment and look quite impressive, even if I say so myself! There might be more pics when I’ve joined the squares together :)

Tricolour Square Blankie

I’ve taken the brave decision to use this pattern to make a nice warm blankie for me and Chris for winter. With fuel prices rocketing, this is a nice cosy way to save money :)

It took some working out what size crochet hook to use, I finally settled on an 8mm with chunky yarn. It’s going to be multi-coloured, as you may have noticed and more than tricolour if you count the black! This cuts down on cost as well because I can source the yarn on ebay when bargains are available. They are approximately 10″ square.

Sock Monkey Hand Puppet

Another Christmas Present finished, I’m on a roll this year!!

This lovely pattern is from Crochet Kitten and is available on Ravelry :)

Traditional Granny Square Christmas Stocking

This design is by Veronica Lopez and once again I found it on Ravelry :)

I crocheted a total of 15 traditional granny squares then joined them together as per instructions.

Christmas Pineapple Gift Bag

I designed this little bag for putting some choccies in for a Christmas pressie. I had intended to crochet just a few pineapple stitches, but got carried away!
