I spend an awful lot of time visiting sites looking for the best prices for materials, it’s sadly often the delivery charges that stop me from purchasing from quite a few companies. When an item is only £2.50, how can you justify a £5.95 delivery charge?

But the biggest complaint I have are sites that insist that you register first before even showing you any prices. Can you imagine walking down the high street and being stopped from going in a store until you’ve registered with them before you can see their prices?

At this time of financial crisis, I would have thought businesses would do everything possible to encourage sales, not discourage them.

Alright, rant over, if any suppliers do stumble across this blog, please take note.

Is crochet cotton any good to you? Lidl have 2.2km balls for less than a fiver and I have tons of the stuff sitting about.

Depends how fine it is, I’ll have to check it out, the crochet cotton I’ve got is too thin. I’ve just ordered some huge balls of natural jute, some knots look better done chunky!
