I wanted to try weaving with beads, didn’t really have a clear idea what design to do, so I just muddled through this piece when suddenly I had a light bulb moment. As I’d worked through the rows it looked like a top, so I added some long beaded tassels. Then the light bulb got brighter…why not use a paper doll template to hang it on.
As usual I didn’t stop there, I added some lace and snipped the bottom to make it free standing. I had to stop myself there otherwise I’d have gone over the top!

That is sooooo cute. I’ve been playing with beads myself today. You could make a card or a scene with her. She could be a little flapper girl in a speakeasy!
